Kalju Karask (28 March 1931 Rakke – 11 August 2011 Tallinn) was an Estonian opera and operetta singer (tenor) and actor. In 1953 he graduated from GITIS' Estonian studio. 1953-1959 he worked at Estonian Drama Theatre, and 1959-1994 at Estonia Theatre. ''Mehed ei nuta'' (Estonian for ''Men Don't Cry'') is a 1969 Estonian television comedy movie directed by Sulev Nõmmik and written by himself and Enn Vetemaa. '' Mäeküla piimamees'' (''The Dairyman of Mäeküla'') is a novel by the Estonian author Eduard Vilde Eduard Vilde ( – 26 December 1933) was an Estonian writer, a pioneer of critical realism in Estonian literature, and a diplomat. It was translated into English as ''Milkman of the Manor'' by Melanie Rauk in 1976. Tallinn () is the most populous and capital city of Estonia.
