''Kalikaalam'' is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed and written by Panchu Arunachalam. The film stars Raadhika and Nizhalgal Ravi. It is a remake of the Telugu film of same name. The film was released on 11 July 1992. Plot Raghuram, a daily wage worker, faces many challenges while earning for his family. He struggles hard to make money for the marriage of his children. Panchu Arunachalam
Panchanathan Arunachalam (22 March 1941 – 9 August 2016) was an Indian writer, director, producer and lyricist who worked in Tamil cinema. He was mentored by poet Kannadasan who was his uncle. He also worked as a lyricist in the Tamil cinema industry. He started producing films under his production banner named P. A. Arts. His son Subbu Panchu Arunachalam is an actor and dubbing artist in the Tamil film industry. Career In 2004, Panchu Arunachalam opted to return to work as a director and planned a film titled ''Ganesha'' with Cheran in the lead role. However, the film eventually did not materialise. Subramaniam Panchu Arunachalam, credited as Subbu Panchu or P. Ar. Subramaniam (born 16 February 1973) is an Indian actor and film producer. Son of noted writer-producer Panchu Arunachalam, Subbu first appeared as a child artist in the Malayalam film '' Daisy'', before working in the production department of his father's P. A. Art Productions. He returned to acting with the television series ''Arasi'' and shot to fame following his performance in the 2010 comedy film ''Boss Engira Bhaskaran''. Mohan Rangachari (16 October 1952 – 10 June 2019) known professionally as Crazy Mohan, was an Indian actor, comedian, screenwriter and playwright. An engineer by profession, Mohan started writing plays and established his own drama troupe called "Crazy Creations" in 1979.
