Kalichaat
''Kalichaat'' is a 70-minute 2018 Indian feature film, set in the Malwa-Nimar region of Western Madhya Pradesh. It follows the hurdles of an Indian farmer in hopes of giving his family a better life. The story transforms into a labyrinth of complex government procedures and a system promoting hopelessness among the "providers of society" such as the farmer. Plot The story revolves around Sitaram, a typical farmer in central India, seeking to provide for his family of five. Sitaram is faced with the difficulty of raising crops in the Indian monsoon climate. Despite his best efforts, Sitaram's field yields nothing but weeds. Malvi Language
Malvi or Malwi (माळवी भाषा / માળવી ભાષા), is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in the Malwa region of India. It is closely related to Nimadi, which is spoken in the Nimar region of Madhya Pradesh. The dialects of Malvi are Ujjaini (Ujjain, Dhar, Indore, Dewas, Shajapur, Sehore districts), Rajawadi (Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch districts), Umathwadi ( Rajgarh district), and Sondhwadi (Jhalawar district). Habib Tanvir (1 September 1923 – 8 June 2009) was one of the most popular Indian Urdu, Hindi playwrights, a theatre director, poet and actor. He was the writer of plays such as, ''Agra Bazar'' (1954) and ''Charandas Chor'' (1975). A pioneer in Urdu and Hindi theatre, he was most known for his work with Chhattisgarhi tribals, at the Naya Theatre, a theatre company he founded in 1959 in Bhopal. He went on to include indigenous performance forms such as ''nacha'', to create not only a new theatrical language, but also milestones such as ''Charandas Chor'', ''Gaon ka Naam Sasural, Mor Naam Damad'' and ''Kamdeo ka Apna Basant Ritu ka Sapna''.
