Kamal (director)
Kamaluddin Mohammed Majeed, mononymously known as Kamal, is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He works in Malayalam cinema. He was the former Chairman of Kerala State Chalachitra Academy. Kamal made his directorial debut with the 1986 film ''Mizhineerppoovukal''. In a career spanning over three decades, Kamal has directed over forty films. Sathaar
Sathaar (25 May 1948 – 17 September 2019) was an Indian actor who primarily worked in Malayalam films. He made his acting debut with M. Krishnan Nair's ''Bharyaye Avashyamundu'' (1975). He became a hero in 1976 with ''Anaavaranam'', directed by A. Vincent. Even though he started as a leading man, later he became a successful villain as well as a character actor. He also had important roles in the early 80's Tamil films ''Mayil'' and ''Soundaryame Varuga Varuga''. He acted in almost 300 movies including Tamil and Telugu. Achankunju ( ml, അച്ചൻകുഞ്ഞ്) (1930 - 16 January 1987) was an Indian actor in Malayalam cinema. He started his career in the 1980s, mainly portraying villainous roles. He acted in more than 50 films in Malayalam. Background Achankunju hails from the Nellissery family, Kacherikkadavu, Kottayam in Kerala. He is a Kerala State Film Award-winning actor in 1981 for the movie ''Lorry''. He died on 16 January 1987 at the age of 56 at Kottayam. Jayamala (born 28 February 1955) is an Indian actress and politician. She served as the Minister for Women and Child Development and Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens in the Government of Karnataka, by virtue of being a member of the Karnataka Legislative Council. Bichu Thirumala
B. Sivasankaran Nair, popularly known as Bichu Thirumala (13 February 1942 – 26 November 2021), was an Indian lyricist and poet. He is known for creating the style of arranging beautiful words in Malayalam film songs. In Malayalam cinema, Bichu Thirumala led the group of lyricists who wrote songs for readymade tunes. He won the Kerala State Film Award for the best lyricist two times. His prolific Malayalam film repertoire includes work with eminent composers like Shyam, G. Devarajan, V. Dakshinamurthy, M.S.
