Kacper Pludra
Kacper Pludra (born 21 August 2002) is an international motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. Career Pludra's breakthrough year was in 2022, when he won the silver medal in the Silver Helmet during the 2022 Polish speedway season. He was part of the Poland national speedway team, who won the bronze medal at the final of the 2022 European Pairs Speedway Championship, although he was the unused reserve. In 2023, he entered his second season with Grudziądz, won the bronze medal in the Silver Helmet and he just missed qualifying for the 2023 SGP2 The 2023 SGP2 series was the 47th edition of the FIM Individual Under-21 World Championship. Lejonen
Lejonen (the Lions) is a motorcycle speedway club from Gislaved in Sweden, who compete in the Elitserien. Their home track is at the OnePartnerGroup Arena which is Sweden's oldest track still in use. The club are two times champions of Sweden. History In December 1929 Gislaved Motorclub was formed and by 1931 the track was built. The track was originally wide and long but in 1936 it was widened to and during the 1980s the inside edge of the track was moved and the length was reduced to . In 1963 the Lejonen team began racing in Division Three and became the champions in 1965. Rospiggarna
Rospiggarna is a motorcycle speedway team based in Hallstavik, Sweden. The club was founded in 1930 and were named ''Orion'', although it did not compete in the Swedish speedway leagues until 1966. The club joined the Swedish Division Three in 1966 and the team name was changed to ''Stjärnorna'' (English: The Stars). In 1978 the name was changed again to Rospiggarna which is the demonym for people from Roslagen, where Hallstavik is situated. Rospiggarna have won four Elitserien (speedway), Elitserien Championships and has also been the home team of 4 former Speedway World Championship, World Champions, Tony Rickardsson, Per Jonsson, Greg Hancock and Jason Crump. Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes. The Poland national speedway team is the national motorcycle speedway team of Poland and is controlled by the Polish Motor Union ( PZM). The team is one of the major teams in international speedway and they won the Team World Championship nine times (last time in 2009 and 2010). The 2022 European Pairs Speedway Championship was the 19th edition of the European Pairs Speedway Championship. the final was held in Slangerup, Denmark on 27 August. The 2023 SGP2 series was the 47th edition of the FIM Individual Under-21 World Championship. It was staged as the SGP2 class of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series after rights holders Discovery Sports Events took over promotional rights of the competition in 2022. The three qualifying rounds were staged at Krsko, Pardubice and Vojens on 20 May. Four qualifiers from each qualifying heat progressed to the main event.
