2022 European Pairs Speedway Championship
The 2022 European Pairs Speedway Championship was the 19th edition of the European Pairs Speedway Championship. the final was held in Slangerup, Denmark on 27 August. The second semi final was held in Mâcon in France on 23 July, where defending champions France were eliminated, along with Italy and the Netherlands. The first semi final was held in Nagyhalasz in Hungary 8 July and saw Slovenia, Ukraine, Hungary and Finland eliminated. The title was won by Denmark for the first time. European Pairs Speedway Championship
The European Pairs Speedway Championship is an annual speedway event held in different countries organized by the European Motorcycle Union (UEM) since 2004. Previous winners Rules The minimum age limit (16 years) starts on the date of the rider's birthday. Team composition The 6 (or 7) competing teams shall each consist of 3 riders: 2 riders having programmed riders and the third rider being a substitute, as follows: The substitute rider may take the place of any programmed rider, at any time, within the maximum number of permitted heats (5 when is 6 pairs and 6 when is 7 pairs) as decided by the Team Manager. Joel Andersson (born 10 April 1996) is an international speedway rider from Sweden. Speedway career Andersson came to prominence at the 2015 Team Speedway Junior European Championship where he won a silver medal and top scored for Sweden. The following year he won the 2016 Swedish U21 championship, finished fourth in the 2016 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship and the 2016 Team Speedway Junior European Championship and reached the 2016 Speedway Under-21 World Championship final. 2022 Speedway European Championship
The 2022 Speedway European Championship season was the 10th season of the Speedway European Championship (SEC) era, and the 22nd UEM Individual Speedway European Championship. It was the ninth series under the promotion of One Sport Lts. of Poland. Mikkel Michelsen was the defending champion having won the title in 2021. The title was won by Denmark's Leon Madsen after he overtook former series leader Janusz Kołodziej in the final round to win by just one point. It was the second time Madsen won the title after claiming the championship in 2018. Qualification For the 2022 season, 15 permanent riders were joined at each SEC Final by one wildcard and two track reserves. Defending champion, Mikkel Michelsen from Denmark was automatically invited to participate in all final events, while Leon Madsen, Patryk Dudek, Piotr Pawlicki Jr. and Dan Bewley secured their participation in all final events thanks to being in the top five of the general classification in the 2021 season. ...

Lasse Fredriksen (born 8 June 1997) is a speedway rider from Norway, he is a two times Norwegian national champion. Speedway career In 2018 and 2021, Fredriksen won the Norwegian Individual Speedway Championship. Fredriksen began his British speedway career riding for the Edinburgh Monarchs in the SGB Championship 2022. Christopher Calvin Harris (born 28 November 1982) from Truro, Cornwall, nicknamed ''Bomber'', is a Great Britain international speedway rider for the Leicester Lions and Glasgow Tigers in the United Kingdom. Career history Early career Harris began his racing career at the age of six and a half by competing in grasstrack events. Tom Brennan (speedway Rider)
Thomas Brennan (born 2 July 2001) is a British speedway rider. Career In 2016, Brennan made a number of guest appearances at reserve for Eastbourne Eagles after he turned 15 and was eligible to ride in the National League. He made his debut for Eastbourne on his 15th birthday against Birmingham Brummies, however he crashed in his first ride and suffered a broken collarbone. Brennan retained his spot for Eastbourne for the 2017 season. A good start to the season saw him move from reserve to number 1, before he moved to number 4 for the majority of the season. He scored his first paid maximum scoring 9+3 from 4 rides in the National League Knockout Cup Final against Mildenhall Fen Tigers. Daniils Kolodinskis
Daniils Kolodinskis (born 19 November 2000) is a Latvian motorcycle speedway rider. Career Kolodinskis came to prominence when reaching the final of the 2019 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship. He represented the Latvian U21 team during the 2020 and 2021 World Junior Championships. He won a bronze medal in the Team Speedway Junior European Championship and won two bronze medals in the Latvian Individual Speedway Championship in 2020 and 2022.
