First signing on as KNBB in 1999, the station originally had an adult contemporary music format from 1999 to 2005 and broadcast Louisiana Tech University baseball and women's basketball. Then from 2005 to 2006, the station had a sports format featuring ESPN Radio, local high school sports, Louisiana Tech baseball, and Grambling State University football. On the first day of 2007, the original KNBB swapped format and call sign with KPCH, and the new KPCH became an oldies station while continuing to broadcast Grambling State football. The station's broadcast license is held by Red Peach LLC. The station was founded by William W. Brown in 1984 as KPCH and broadcast with adult contemporary, easy listening, and oldies music formats in its early history. Brown sold KPCH in 2003 for $1.5 million to Communications Capital Managers. In 2007, the original KPCH switched its call sign and format with sports station KNBB. Ruston, Louisiana
Ruston is a small city and the parish seat of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is the largest city in the Eastern Ark-La-Tex region. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 21,859, reflecting an increase of 6.4 percent from the count of 20,546 counted in the 2000 Census. Ruston is near the eastern border of the Ark-La-Tex region and is the home of Louisiana Tech University. Its economy is therefore based on its college population. Michael Scott Shannon (born July 25, 1947) is an American radio disc jockey who hosted the morning show for WCBS-FM in New York City from 2014 to 2022 as well as ''Scott Shannon Presents America's Greatest Hits'' which is syndicated nationally with United Stations Radio Networks and Audacy. Dubach is a town in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 961 at the 2010 census, an increase from 800 in 2000. Dubach High School, located centrally in the town, is noted for fielding good athletic teams in basketball and often defeats teams from much larger towns and cities. Dubach is also known as the "Dogtrot Capital of the World" because of the presence of numerous nearby dogtrot houses. Dubach is part of the Ruston Micropolitan Statistical Area.
