Junaid Siddique (Emirati Cricketer)
Junaid Siddique (born 6 December 1992) is a Pakistani-born cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. Siddique was born in Multan, Pakistan. He moved to the UAE in 2014. In October 2019, he was added to the United Arab Emirates' squad for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament in the UAE. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for the United Arab Emirates, against Oman, on 18 October 2019. In December 2019, he was named in the One Day International (ODI) squad for the 2019 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series. He made his ODI debut for the UAE, against the United States on 8 December 2019. Multan
Multan (; ) is a city in Punjab, Pakistan, on the bank of the Chenab River. Multan is Pakistan's seventh largest city as per the 2017 census, and the major cultural, religious and economic centre of southern Punjab. It is United Arab Emirates's representative at the International Cricket Council and is an Associate Member and has been a Member of that body since 1990. The United States national cricket team is the team that represents the United States in international cricket. The team was formerly organised by the United States of America Cricket Association (USACA), which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1965. In June 2017, the USACA was expelled by the ICC due to governance and financing issues, with the U.S. team being temporarily overseen by ICC Americas until a new sanctioning body was established. The 2019 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series was the third round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament and took place in the United Arab Emirates in December 2019. It was a tri-nation series between Scotland, the United Arab Emirates and the United States cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures.
