2019 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series
The 2019 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series was the third round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament and took place in the United Arab Emirates in December 2019. It was a tri-nation series between Scotland, the United Arab Emirates and the United States cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed the fixtures for the tri-series in November 2019. The United Arab Emirates named a squad for the opening match of the series that contained six cricketers who had not played in an ODI match before. 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2
The 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 is the first edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, a cricket tournament which forms part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualification process. It is currently running from August 2019 to February 2023, with all matches played as One Day Internationals (ODIs). Each set of fixtures will take part as a tri-series. Scotland, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates were joined by the top four teams from the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. The first round of fixtures was played in Aberdeen, Scotland in August 2019. The top three teams will advance to the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament, while the bottom four teams will have to go into the 2022 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off. Craig Donald Wallace (born 27 June 1990) is a Scottish cricketer. Wallace is a right-handed batsman who fields as a wicket-keeper. He was born in Dundee and was educated at the High School of Dundee. Wallace made his debut for Scotland in a List A match against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl in the 2011 Clydesdale Bank 40. Hamza Tahir (born 9 November 1995) is a Scottish cricketer. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Scotland against Pakistan on 12 June 2018. Safyaan Mohammed Sharif (born 24 May 1991) is a Scottish cricketer. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a right-handed batsman. He made his international debut for Scotland in June 2011. Henry George Munsey (born 21 February 1993) is a Scottish cricketer. He has played for the Scotland national cricket team since 2015. He is a left-handed opening batsman. He also worked as a salesperson for Gray-Nicolls. Early life Munsey was born in Oxford, England. He was educated at Loretto School in East Lothian between 2006 and 2011. Matthew Henry Cross (born 15 October 1992) is a Scottish cricketer who plays for Scotland and is a right-handed wicket-keeper batsman. Richie Berrington
Richard Douglas Berrington (born 3 April 1987) is a Scottish cricketer. He played for Scotland in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka, and has since played first-class, One Day International, and List A cricket for Scotland.
