Julien Mari (, born 14 January 1990), better known as Jul (, stylized as JuL and in all caps), is a French rapper, singer, and producer. In February 2020, he became the biggest record seller in the history of French rap with more than four million albums sold at the age of 30, and in six years of career. Biography Jul was born in the 12th arrondissement of Marseille. Career Jul released his first single "''Sors le cross volé''" in November 2013. On 24 February 2014, he released his debut album, "''Dans ma paranoïa''" on the independent Liga One Industry label. It was the first of a prolific series. Since the beginning of his career, he has released at least two LPs per year, all reaching the platinum certification or greater. His debut was followed by "Lacrizeomic" and "Je trouve pas le sommeil". All three have reached the French SNEP official albums chart. L'Algérino
Samir Djoghlal (born 2 May 1981), better known as L'Algérino (), is an Algerian-French rapper and singer whose family came from the Chaoui- Berber tribes in Khenchela, Algeria. A childhood friend of JUL, he was discovered in 2001 by rapper Akhenaton, a member of the IAM group, who signed him on his 361 Recordz label, and in which he published his first album " Les derniers seront les premiers" (English: The Last will be the First), in June 2005. Coming from the Air Bell suburb of Marseille, he started rapping in 2006 at the age of 15. Two years later he formed Click 11.43 with two other rappers, KOFS and Sahime. The formation had considerable following particularly with the incarcerated population in France. Naps also released his own solo materials and collaborated with many other rappers. In January 2020, Naps announced that he has stopped all artistic activity and has destroyed his gold certified album.
