Jonathan Wayne (born June 5, 1990), better known by his stage name Jonwayne, is an American rapper and record producer. Early life Jonwayne was born in La Habra, California on June 5, 1990. He is a descendant of American Revolutionary War General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, from whom actor John Wayne took his stage name. Career Jonwayne briefly worked as a stage actor after high school. Through these activities, he developed a crush on a girl who was interested in poetry; he then began writing his own poetry in order to impress her and quickly found a passion for it. Jonwayne's love of poetry led to his involvement in hip hop at 17 years old when a rap group from West Covina began bringing their equipment to a Young Artists Workshop that he attended. Donell McGary (born 1977), known professionally as Dibiase, is an American alternative hip hop producer from Watts, Los Angeles, California. He is also a member of Project Blowed hip-hop shop. Career Dibiase released his debut album, '' Machines Hate Me'', on Alpha Pup Records in 2010. Pitchfork Media gave it 5.8 out of 10, while Resident Advisor gave it 4 out of 5. Before doing music, he made a living as a graphic artist. Unlike most hip-hop producers who use the Akai MPC and SP-1200, he primarily utilizes the SP-303 and SP-404 installments, for they provide a gritty lo-fi sound. La Habra (archaic spelling of ''La Abra'', ) is a city in the northwestern corner of Orange County, California, United States. In the 2010 census, the city had a population of 60,239. Christopher George Manak (born October 8, 1969 ), better known by his stage name Peanut Butter Wolf, is an American disc jockey and record producer from San Jose, California. He is based in Los Angeles, where he moved to in 2000. He is the founder of Stones Throw Records. Career In 1989, Peanut Butter Wolf met rapper Charizma. They became friends and started making music together. They made a name for themselves in San Jose and the Bay Area through their live shows and demo tapes. Charizma was shot dead in 1993.
