Jessica Calalang
Jessica Noelle Calalang (born February 24, 1995) is an American pair skater. With her current partner Brian Johnson, she is a three-time U.S. national silver medalist (2020–22) and a three-time Challenger series medalist, including gold at the 2019 CS Warsaw Cup. Earlier in her career, she skated with Zack Sidhu, winning three medals on the ISU Challenger Series. Personal life Jessica Noelle Calalang was born on February 24, 1995, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. After graduating in 2013 from Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois, she enrolled at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California. Career In the 2009–10 season, Calalang competed with Daniel O'Shea on the novice level. Partnership with Sidhu Calalang teamed up with Zack Sidhu in August 2010. 2019 Skate America
The 2019 Skate America presented by American Cruise Lines was the first event in the 2019–20 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 18–20. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters earned points toward qualifying for the 2019–20 Grand Prix Final. Skate America was the first senior international event in International Skating Union history to be streamed live by the ISU on YouTube with geographical restrictions, as part of the federation's new deal for the 2019–20 Grand Prix series to reach countries that do not have broadcasting rights for any skating events. Glenview is an incorporated village located in Cook County, Illinois, United States, approximately 15 miles northwest of the Chicago Loop. Per the 2020 census, the population was 48,705. 2013 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2013 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2012–13 season. Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The event was held in Milan, Italy from 25 February to 3 March 2013. Qualification The competition was open to skaters from ISU member nations who were at least 13 but not 19—or 21 for male pair skaters and ice dancers—before July 1, 2012 in their place of birth. National associations selected their entries according to their own criteria but the ISU mandated that their selections achieve a minimum technical elements score (TES) at an international event prior to the Junior Worlds. 2011–12 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2011–12 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 15th season of the series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2011–12 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating contested by senior-level skaters. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters earned points towards qualifying for the final at each of the seven Junior Grand Prix events.
