Jeffery Miller
Jeffery Oliver Miller is an American trombonist, vocalist, composer, arranger and bandleader primarily known for his work in jazz and pop music. He was worked with Delfeayo Marsalis, Wynton Marsalis, Jon Batiste & Stay Human, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and John Legend, among others. Early life Born and raised in New Orleans' Algiers neighborhood (15th Ward), Miller gained early and ubiquitous exposure to jazz culture and history. He is the great-great grandnephew of Papa John Joseph, a New Orleans bass player who worked with Buddy Bolden (and notably passed away during an especially raucous performance of "When the Saints Go Marching In" with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band). Miller sang at home and church from an early age. Jazz At Lincoln Center
Jazz at Lincoln Center is part of Lincoln Center in New York City. The organization was founded in 1987 and opened at Time Warner Center in October 2004. Wynton Marsalis is the artistic director and the leader of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. The center hosts performances by the orchestra and by visiting musicians. Many concerts are streamed live on the center's YouTube channel. The center also presents educational programs in its home buildings, online, and in schools throughout the country. The Voice (franchise)
''The Voice'' is an international reality television singing competition franchise. It is based on the reality singing competition '' The Voice of Holland'', which was originally created by Dutch producer John de Mol and Dutch singer Roel van Velzen. It has become a rival to the '' Idols'' franchise, '' The Four'', '' Rising Star'' and '' The X Factor''. Up until 2020, the franchise was owned by Talpa Network. The current owner is ITV Studios. Originated in the Netherlands, many other countries adapted the format and began airing their own versions starting in 2010. Up till now, seven different versions of ''The Voice'' have been produced by countries/regions all around the world. Some programs still stick to the original format of the show while most of them are produced with twists of the format added. Esperanza Spalding
Esperanza Emily Spalding (born October 18, 1984) is an American bassist, singer, songwriter, and composer. Her accolades include five Grammy Awards, a Boston Music Award, and a Soul Train Music Award. A native of Portland, Oregon, Spalding began playing music professionally in her childhood, performing as a violinist in the Chamber Music Society of Oregon at age five. She was later both self-taught and trained on other instruments, including guitar and bass. Her proficiency earned her academic scholarships to Portland State University and the Berklee College of Music, both of which she attended, studying music.
