Jallikattu Kaalai
''Jallikattu Kaalai'' () is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by Manivasagam, starring Prabhu and Kanaka. The film, produced by K. Balu, has musical score by Deva and was a Diwali release. Plot Gopalakrishnan works in a mill owned by Sundara Gounder. Radha, Sundara Gounder's daughter, returns to the village after her studies and falls in love with Gopalakrishnan. Loose Gounder is a vicious landlord who has raped many women. When Sundara Gounder knows about his daughter's love, Sundara Gounder arranges her marriage in a hurry, to a fraud. Before the marriage, her fiancé makes a deal with Loose Gounder: Loose Gounder can spend one night with Radha and can do whatever he wants. Manivasagam
Manivasagam (died 2001) was an Indian people, Indian film director, producer and screenwriter who worked on Tamil films. Career Manivasagam began his career with ''Namma Ooru Poovatha'' (1990) and continued to work on village action dramas, often collaborating with actor Sarath Kumar. He often produced his own films, and credited his wife, Rajeswari Manivasagam, as the chief producer. The failure of his film, ''Nadodi Mannan (1995 film), Nadodi Mannan'' (1995), prompted the director to take a break from directing films. His final release was ''Mappillai Gounder'' (1997) which also opened to negative reviews and performed poorly at the box office. Manivasagam died in 2001. ''The Indian Express'' is an English-language Indian daily newspaper founded in 1932. It is published in Mumbai by the Indian Express Group. In 1999, eight years after the group's founder Ramnath Goenka's death in 1991, the group was split between the family members. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer.
