Chaah
Chaah is a town and mukim in Segamat District, Johor, Malaysia. It is the southernmost mukim in the district, but it is administered as a suburb of Labis. Chaah consists of Kampung and Taman Chaah Town, C-Block, Kampung Baru (residents are mostly Chinese), Kampung Java (Malay Kampung), Taman Damai Jaya I & II, Taman Sri Chaah, Taman Orkid, and is surrounded by oil palm plantations. Taman Chaah Baru (new Chaah garden) is from Chaah Town. About south of Chaah, there is a village named Desa Temu Jodoh. Established in the early 1970s, Desa Temu Jodoh got its name from the grand wedding ceremony among many couples of early settlers. Bekok
Bekok is a mukim in Segamat District, Johor, Malaysia. It is the western entrance to Endau Rompin National Park and has a waterfall known as Sungai Bantang Waterfall. Bekok also houses several aborigine settlements ''(Perkampungan Orang Asli)'', such as Kampung Kudong and Kampung Kemidak. During the pre-independence period, this small town was a "Black Area" known for strong communist resistance against the British government. North–South Expressway Southern Route
The North–South Expressway Southern Route is an interstate controlled-access highway running parallel to the southwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway forms the south section of the North–South Expressway, connecting the states of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor. It begins at Seri Kembangan, near the state/territory boundary between Selangor and Kuala Lumpur and travels southwards to end at Pandan-Tebrau in Johor. The expressway is the third longest in Peninsular Malaysia, after its northern counterpart and the East Coast Expressway.
