Jagakarsa is a district of South Jakarta, one of the administrative cities in Jakarta Indonesia. Jagakarsa is the southernmost district of South Jakarta (the southernmost district of Jakarta belongs to Ciracas District in East Jakarta.) Jagakarsa District is bounded by Ciliwung River to the east, Krukut River to the west, and Margasatwa-Sagu-Joe-T.B.Simatupang-Poltangan Road to the north, while the boundary marches with Depok city to the south. As one of the southernmost districts of Jakarta, Jagakarsa has a relatively higher elevation (average 52-meter above sea level) and a cooler climate than the rest of Jakarta (average 25–27-degree Celsius). Jagakarsa has been allotted for water reservoir use, resulting in low footprint for buildings in Jagakarsa and high amount of green area. Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village or Setu Babakan is a cultural park of Betawi people, which is located at Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, Jakarta in Indonesia. Tanjung Barat Railway Station
Tanjung Barat Station (TNT) is a class II railway station located in Tanjung Barat, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The station, which is located at an altitude of +44 m, is included in the Jakarta Operational Area I and only serves the KRL Commuterline route. After being renovated in 2009, this station has different facilities and atmosphere compared to other stations. Bright orange and red colors dominate every corner of the room at this station, and there is also a signboard that guides prospective passengers to step. Coupled with 4 flat-screen televisions as a means of indicating the arrival of trains, it's not surprising that Tanjung Barat Station was used as a pilot station for all stations in Jabodetabek. Lenteng Agung Station (LNA), is a railway station located on Jl. Lenteng Agung Timur, Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The station, which is located at an altitude of +57 meters, is included in the Jakarta Operational Area I and only serves the KRL Commuterline route. Tanjung West
Tandjong West (English: "West Cape"; Indonesian: "Tanjung Barat") was a '' particuliere land'' or private domain in modern-day Tanjung Barat, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, Indonesia. The center of the domain was the eponymous Landhuis Tandjong West, an eighteenth-century Dutch colonial manor house. History 18th-century Tandjong West was located on the west side of the upper Ciliwung (the vast area between Jalan Poltangan Raya, Jalan Raya Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Outer Ring Road and the Ciliwung).
