Jérôme Faucheur
Jérôme Faucheur (born in 1953) is a French organist, improviser and Professor of Organ in the schools of Bondues, Comines and Hazebrouck as well as in the Institute of Sacred Music in Lille. He is titular of the organs in Bondues Bondues (; nl, Bonduwe) is a commune in the Nord department in northern France. Biography Jérôme Faucheur was born in 1953 in Lille, France. He won the gold medal for organ and improvisation in 1974 at the Conservatory of Lille, the first Prize in the ''Tournois du Royaume de la Musique'', and holds the ‘Diplome Superieur d'Orgue’ from the Sacred Music Institute of Rouen. Bondues
Bondues (; nl, Bonduwe) is a commune in the Nord department in northern France. Since 1997, Bondues has housed a Museum devoted to the Resistance of the Nord-Pas de Calais region. The Fort of Bondues, also known as Fort Lobau, was built near the confluence of the Marque and Deûle rivers, by General Séré de Rivières, from 1877 to 1880. It is an element of the chain of forts and fortifications constituting the defence system around Lille. It was the place of execution of 68 members of the resistance in 1943/4. Hazebrouck
Hazebrouck (, nl, Hazebroek, , vls, Oazebroeke) is a commune in the Nord department, Hauts-de-France. It was a small market town in Flanders until it became an important railway junction in the 1860s. West Flemish was the usual language until 1880, when French was taught at school by mandate of the French government in an effort to "Frenchify" the people of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais and to extinguish their Flemish roots. The development of the railways linked Hazebrouck to Lille to Calais and Dunkirk. History The incorporation into France of what had previously been a Flemish town was ratified in the 1678 Treaties of Nijmegen. Wambrechies (; vls, Wemmersijs; pcd, Vamberchi) is a commune in the Nord department, in the region Hauts-de-France, in northern France. It is part of the European Metropolis of Lille. It has a population of around 10,600 (2019). Rolande Roberte Ginabat-Falcinelli (18 February 1920 – 11 June 2006) was a French organist, pianist, composer, and music educator. Biography Rolande Falcinelli (born Ginabat), the grandniece of Marcel Falcinelli and granddaughter of Louis Napoléon Falcinelli (both painters), was born in Paris and entered the Conservatoire de Paris in 1932, where her teachers were noted pianist and pedagogue Isidor Philipp and Abel Estyle (piano), Marcel Samuel-Rousseau (harmony), Simone Plé-Caussade (counterpoint), Henri Büsser (composition), and Marcel Dupré ( organ and improvisation).
