Jyu-Oh-Sei
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsumi Itsuki. The manga was first serialized in Hakusensha's monthly shōjo manga magazine, ''LaLa'' in December 1993. Several chapters of the series were serialized in Hakusensha's other bi-monthly ''shōjo'' manga magazine, Melody. The chapters released were then collected into five ''tankōbon'' volumes and later re-released into three ''kanzenban'' volumes. It was licensed and released in English in North America by Tokyopop, with translations by Yuya Otake and English adaptation by Clint Bickham. An 11-episode anime adaptation was animated by Bones and premiered on April 13, 2006 in Japan as part of Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block. Hiroshi Nishikiori
is a Japanese anime director. He debuted in 1999 with ''I'm Gonna Be An Angel!'' Two years later, he directed ''Angelic Layer'', which won the Animation Kobe in the television category. Clint Bickham is an American voice actor and ADR script writer working with Funimation and Sentai Filmworks/Seraphim Digital. After collaborating with illustrator Priscilla Hamby on ''Devil's Candy'', which was featured in the first volume of ''Rising Stars of Manga'', he also worked for the manga publisher Tokyopop, writing the English adaptations of manga such as '' Domo'' and ''Jyu-Oh-Sei''. Noitamina
is a Japanese Block programming, programming block on Fuji TV devoted to anime, originally broadcast every Thursday late night/Friday morning from 00:45 to 1:15. It was launched with the intention of expanding the target audience beyond the typical young male demographic. The block debuted in April 2005 as a half-hour block. All anime production under the block are joint-venue by Fuji TV, Dentsu and usually Sony Music Entertainment Japan or Aniplex.
