Juuso Simpanen
Juuso Simpanen (born 8 June 1991) is a Finnish former footballer. He has played for Finnish Ykkönen club Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho. After starting his career with local TiPS, young Simpanen moved to neighbours FC Honka, where he finished his football grooming and raised to the first team squad in 2010. Simpanen was part of the team that won the Finnish League Cup in the same year. He was awarded as man of the match in the final against JJK. Veikkausliiga (; sv, Tipsligan) is the premier division of Finnish football, the highest tier of the Finnish football league structure, comprising the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. ''Ykkönen'' (Finnish for 'Number One'; sv, Ettan) is the second highest level of the Finnish football league system (after the Veikkausliiga), although it is the highest league managed by the Football Association of Finland. 2012 Finnish Cup
The 2012 Finnish Cup ( fi, Suomen Cup) is the 58th season of the main annual association football cup competition in Finland. It is organised as a single-elimination knock–out tournament. Participation in the competition is voluntary. A total of 198 teams registered for the competition, with 12 teams from the Veikkausliiga, 10 from the Ykkönen, 28 from the Kakkonen, 54 from the Kolmonen and 94 teams from other divisions. The tournament started on 6 January 2012 with the first match of Round 1. Many matches in the early rounds are played on artificial pitches in indoor halls. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders.
