Justyna Pochanke
Justyna Pochanke (born 25 January 1972 in Warsaw) is Polish journalist and television presenter associated with TVN. Biography She studied journalism at the University of Warsaw, where she obtained a research degree. For a year she studied at the Sorbonne at the Department of Culture and Civilization of France. She made her TV debut as a child, leading the program 5-10-15 on TVP1. For six years, until 2001, she worked on Radio ZET as a presenter of morning news, and ran the show ''Not to see''. She left the station after a conflict with her authorities. In 2001, she started working at TVN24, the emerging channel of the ITI Group. From September 2004 (after leaving the editorial office of Tomasz Lis), she ran the main issue of Fakts on TVN. TVN (Polish pronunciation: ) is a Polish free-to-air television station, network and a media and entertainment group in Poland. TVP1 (TVP Jeden, ''Program I Telewizji Polskiej'', ''"Jedynka"'') is the main public television channel of TVP (Telewizja Polska S.A.), Poland's national television broadcaster. It was the first Polish channel to be broadcast and remains one of the most popular today. TVP1 was launched 25 October 1952. History TVP1 was launched as of 25 October 1952 as TV Polska. The tests resumed in the immediate post-war years and materialized in October 1952 with the launch of the first experimental broadcasts of Polish television. In January 1953, it broadcasts at the rate of half an hour per week, then an hour and a half in March. The schedule of programmes continued to grow and the broadcast time increased to 22 hours per week in 1957, 26 hours in 1958. Regional studios were added to those in Szczecin and Warsaw in 1956. TVN24 is a Polish 24-hour commercial news channel, launched on 9 August 2001. Being a part of the TVN Network, TVN24 has been owned since July 2017 by US-based media company Warner Bros. Discovery. It gained broader popularity after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the US, which was the first major incident to be covered by TVN24. It is available over all digital platforms in Poland (Cyfrowy Polsat and nc+) as well as in most cable networks and some networks in other countries, including USA (Dish Network) and Germany. ITI Group (International Trading and Investments Holdings SA Luxembourg), known as Grupa ITI in Poland, was a large media conglomerate headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. On 2 July 2015, ITI Group and Canal+ Group complete the sale of their controlling interest in TVN to Scripps Networks Interactive. The ITI Group was co-founded by businessmen Jan Wejchert (1950–2009) and Mariusz Walter in 1984. Tomasz Rafał Lis (born 6 March 1966 in Zielona Góra) is a Polish journalist and former TV anchor of “TVN Fakty” ("TVN Facts") and “Wydarzenia” ("Events"). Life and career Lis was born on 6 March 1966 in Zielona Góra to parents Stefan and Wanda (née Adamkiewicz). He attended the Edward Dembowski High School No. 1 in Zielona Góra.
