Justin James is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia. He released his first studio album, ''Sun Drenched'', in 2007 on Universal. The title track "California" was featured in MTV's '' Laguna Beach'' and '' The Hills''. Other songs off the album gained recognition from placements on network shows '' What About Brian'', ''Ghost Whisperer'', ''Starter Wife'', '' Las Vegas'', and others. His song "Love Me More" was used in the highly successful Korean TV drama '' Iris''. James released his second studio album, ''Perfect Sometimes'', in 2010, with arrangements and production from Andrew Williams and a writing team of James, Ben Greet, and Al Howard behind most of the album's tracks. Justin James Warnock, commonly known by his stage name Justin James (born May 7, 1975), is a Canadian electronic musician, DJ, educator and label owner. He has become an influential part of Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan’s Techno scenes. He is best known for his work with Richie Hawtin’s "Minus" records and Dubfire’s "Sci+Tec" record label, as well for his DJing techno sets making use of laptop computers and digital mixing equipment. In May 2014, James founded his own record label, Refused. Early life James was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and at the age of two moved to Amherstburg, Ontario, a suburb of across the river from Detroit, the birthplace of techno. Justin Duane James (born September 13, 1981) is a former American professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the Oakland Athletics in 2010. James attended the University of Missouri. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 6th round of the 2001 MLB Draft, but did not sign. In 2002, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was selected again by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 5th round of the 2003 MLB Draft, and signed. In 2007, James was traded to the Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Reds organization in 2008, but became a minor league free agent. In 2009, James played for the Kansas City T-Bones of the independent Northern League. Justin Taylor James (born January 24, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Wyoming Cowboys. He was selected by the Sacramento Kings in the second round of the 2019 NBA draft. College career A native of Port St. Lucie, Florida, James was an unheralded basketball recruit out of high school, generating only one high-major offer from Mississippi State, before ultimately going to the University of Wyoming.
