Juliette Ramel
Juliette Ramel (born 12 April 1987) is a Swedish Olympic dressage rider. Antonia Ramel
Antonia Ramel (born 2 July 1985, Bettna) is a Swedish equestrian athlete. She competed at the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam where she won team bronze with the Swedish dressage team. Her younger sister Juliette Ramel competed at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Together they were in the bronze-winning team in Rotterdam. Ramel was part of the Swedish team during the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, after Patrik Kittel withdrew from the competition due an injury of his horse Well Done de la Rouche. Ramel finished 35th in the individual competition and 6th with the team. The team dressage in equestrian at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was held at National Equestrian Center from 10 to 12 August. Competition format The team and individual dressage competitions used the same results. Dressage had three phases, with only the first two used in the team competition. The first phase was the Grand Prix. The top six teams advanced to the second phase, the Grand Prix Special. The individual dressage in equestrian at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was held at National Equestrian Center from 10 - 15 August. The medals for the competition were presented by Syed Shahid Ali, Pakistan, member of the International Olympic Committee, and the gifts were presented by Maria Gretzer, FEI executive board member. Competition format The team and individual dressage competitions used the same results. Dressage had three phases, with the last being used only for the individual event. The first phase was the Grand Prix. Individuals advanced to the second phase, the Grand Prix Special, if they were on one of the top seven teams or were one of the top 11 remaining competitors. The top 18 competitors in the Grand Prix Special (ignoring Grand Prix scores) advanced to the final phase, the Grand Prix Freestyle.
