Juan Jose Landaeta (born October 7, 1978) is a professional boxer from Venezuela. Juan Jose fought for the World Boxing Association (WBA) light flyweight title and minimumweight title. Joma Gamboa
Jomarie Gamboa (born April 25, 1973, in Bacolod) is a retired boxer from the Philippines who was a former minimumweight champion. Professional career He made his professional debut in 1993. He fought for his first world title in 1996 but was stopped by thai fighter Saman Sorjaturong. He was unsuccessful a further two times in world title fights before winning an interim title fight against Satoru Abe. On 20 August 2000, he fought full champion Noel Arambulet and won on points after Noel was stripped of the belt for failing to make weight. Gamboa ended up losing his belt in his first title defense in December of the same year to Keitaro Hoshino. In 2004 he ended his career. After two more unsuccessful title challenges Gamboa eventually retired in 2004. Katsunari Takayama
is a Japanese professional boxer. He is a five-time mini-flyweight world champion, having held the WBC title in 2005, the IBF title twice between 2013 and 2015, and the WBO title twice between 2014 and 2017. He retired as a professional in 2017, as WBO world champion, to focus on participation in the 2020 Olympics, but returned in 2020 after failing to qualify. He was a unified light-flyweight world champion, having held the WBA title from 2014 to 2018 and the IBF and ''Ring'' magazine titles from 2017 to 2018. Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division.
