Jozef Jankech
Jozef Jankech is a Slovak football coach. He was the second manager of the Slovak national team. Playing career Jankech began with football in his native town Šaľa. He played for Šaľa from the age of ten, later he left to play for Uherské Hradiště, then played for TTS Trenčín and he ended his career in TŽ Třinec as 29 years old. The first club in which he started coaching was TŽ Třinec. His playing career was not as successful as his coaching career. Managing career Jankech was one of the few Slovak football globetrotters. He trained in foreign several exotic teams such as Kuala Lumpur, Qatar Sports Club or twice in national team of Maldives. Jankech starting his managerial career as ending player in Czech team TŽ Třinec. Then followed stage in Košice where he trained at first VSS Košice and then Lokomotíva Košice. Šaľa
Šaľa (; hu, Vágsellye, german: Schelle) is a town in south-western Slovakia. Geography The town is located on the Danubian Lowland, on both banks of the Váh River, around 65 km from Bratislava and 30 km from Nové Zámky. Except the town itself, it has also the borough of Veča on the left bank of the river and settlements of Hetméň and Kilič. The town lies in the warm climatic zone. History The town was first mentioned in 1002 in a document of Pannonhalma abbey. It was promoted in 1536 into a market town. It was also ruled by Ottomans between 1663 and 1686 as part of Uyvar Eyalet. The railway, built in 1850 between Vienna and Budapest speeded development. Jozef Vengloš
Jozef Vengloš (18 February 1936 – 26 January 2021) was a Slovak professional football player and manager. He held a doctorate in Physical Education and also specialised in Psychology. He was selected by FIFA on various occasions to lecture at the FIFA academies throughout the world. Playing career Born in Ružomberok, Czechoslovakia (now in Slovakia), Vengloš played as a midfielder for Slovan Bratislava 1954–1966, and later captained the team, and also played for Czechoslovakia at the B level. After his playing career was prematurely ended by hepatitis, he began his managerial career in Australia, first in club football, before going on to manage the national team. The Maldives national Under-23 football team, also known as Maldives Under-23s or Maldives U23(s), is considered to be the feeder team for the Maldives national football team, and is controlled by the Football Association of Maldives.
