José Iván Rodríguez Rebollar (born 17 June 1996), also known as Jefecito, is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Liga MX club América. International career Rodríguez was included in Gerardo Martino's preliminary roster for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup but did not make the final list due to an ankle injury. He made his senior national team debut on 2 October 2019 in a friendly against Trinidad & Tobago. He started the game and played the whole match. Morelia
Morelia (; from 1545 to 1828 known as Valladolid) is a city and municipal seat of the municipality of Morelia in the north-central part of the state of Michoacán in central Mexico. The city is in the Guayangareo Valley and is the capital and largest city of the state. The main pre-Hispanic cultures here were the Purépecha and the Matlatzinca, but no major cities were founded in the valley during this time. The Spanish took control of the area in the 1520s. The Spanish under Viceroy Antonio de Mendoza founded a settlement here in 1541 with the name of Valladolid, which became rival to the nearby city of Pátzcuaro for dominance in Michoacán. The 2020–21 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 74th professional season of the top-flight football league in Mexico. The 2024 Supercopa de la Liga MX was an official Mexican football match that took place on 30 June 2024. The match was the second edition of the ''Supercopa de la Liga MX'', contested by the 2023 Campeón de Campeones and the 2024 Campeón de Campeones. This cup featured América, the 2024 champion, and UANL, the 2023 champion. The match took place at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, which normally hosts the Campeón de Campeones. The 2021 Leagues Cup was the second edition of the Leagues Cup organized by Major League Soccer and the Mexican Football Federation. The tournament was originally planned to include sixteen teams but was later reduced to eight teams.
