Josef Florian
Josef Florian (9 February 1873 – 29 December 1941, both in Stará Říše in Moravia) was a Czech book publisher and translator. He was famous for the high quality of books he published in his small publishing company in Stará Říše. Both local authors and foreign translations were published in topics including philosophy, theology, medieval literature and scientific studies — totalling 387 publications in editions ''Dobré dílo'', ''Studium'', ''Nova et Vetera'', ''Kurs'' and ''Archy''. Florian's daughter, (1909–1998), was a painter and artist. Stará Říše
Stará Říše (; german: Alt Reisch) is a market town in Jihlava District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants. Administrative parts The village of Nepomuky is an administrative part of Stará Říše. Geography Stará Říše is located about south of Jihlava. It lies in the Křižanov Highlands. The highest point is the hill Veselský vrch at above sea level. There are several ponds around the market town. History The first written mention of Stará Říše is from 1257. It was a settlement located on a frequented trade route. In 1589, Stará Říše was promoted to a market town by Emperor Rudolf II. In 1758, a large fire destroyed almost all of Stará Říše, and all representative buildings except the school had to be rebuilt. Moravia

The Czech Republic, or simply Czechia, is a landlocked country in Central Europe. Juliana Jirousová
Juliana Jirousová (17 September 1943 – 25 August 2023) was a Czech artist and painter, known for her paintings of Roman Catholic saints. Jirousová was an anti-Communist dissident during the communist era in Czechoslovakia and a signatory of Charter 77. Her former husband, poet Ivan Martin Jirous, was also a dissident and major figure in the underground movement during the Normalization period. Biography Jirousová was born Juliana Stritzková in Stará Říše on 17 September 1937 to a strongly religious Catholic family. Charter 77 (''Charta 77'' in Czech and Slovak) was an informal civic initiative in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic from 1976 to 1992, named after the document Charter 77 from January 1977. Founding members and architects were Jiří Němec, Václav Benda, Ladislav Hejdánek, Václav Havel, Jan Patočka, Zdeněk Mlynář, Jiří Hájek, Martin Palouš, Pavel Kohout, and Ladislav Lis.
