Jordan Tansey
Jordan Tansey (born ) is an English rugby league footballer who plays as a or er. He has previously played for Crusaders RL, Castleford Tigers ( Heritage № 932), Hull FC, Leeds Rhinos and the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the Super League, the York City Knights in the Co-operative Championship and the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. Tansey has also played temporarily for the Dewsbury Rams and the Huddersfield Giants and on a permanent basis for Betfred League 1 side Workington Town. He is perhaps best known for scoring the decisive try in Leeds Rhinos' Millennium Magic 2007 match against the Bradford Bulls, when he followed up a Kevin Sinfield penalty in the last play of the game which hit the crossbar; had the penalty gone over Leeds would only have drawn 38-38. Magic Weekend
The Magic Weekend (known as the Dacia Magic Weekend for sponsorship reasons) is an annual event organised by the Rugby Football League in which an entire round of Super League matches is played over a weekend at a single stadium to promote the sport of rugby league. The first event was held at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff in 2007, and subsequent events have taken place at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh; the Etihad Stadium, Manchester; St James' Park, Newcastle, and Anfield, Liverpool. Having established itself on the English rugby league calendar, the Magic Weekend formula has now been copied in other rugby league-playing nations: starting in France in 2017, and then in Australia, with the Magic Round in 2019. The Sheffield Eagles are a professional rugby league club that play in the Championship (rugby league), Betfred Championship. The club play their home games at the Olympic Legacy Park (OLP) on the former site of Don Valley Stadium, their former ground. Wakefield Trinity is a professional rugby league club in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, that plays in the Super League. One of the original twenty-two clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895, between 1999 and 2016 the club was known as Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. Daniel Williams (born 26 September 1986) is an English rugby league footballer who last played for the Bradford Bulls in the Championship. Williams played for Leeds, and spent 2007 on loan at Castleford ( Heritage № 880), and, due to injuries to first choice wingers Gareth Raynor and Matt Sing, has moved to Hull F.C. for the start of 2008's Super League XIII. After returning from loan at Hull F.C. to Leeds Rhinos, it was announced that Williams was switching codes, to join Guinness Premiership side, Newcastle Falcons, in time for the start of their 2008/09 campaign.
