Danny Williams (rugby)
Daniel Williams (born 26 September 1986) is an English rugby league footballer who last played for the Bradford Bulls in the Championship. Williams played for Leeds, and spent 2007 on loan at Castleford ( Heritage № 880), and, due to injuries to first choice wingers Gareth Raynor and Matt Sing, has moved to Hull F.C. for the start of 2008's Super League XIII. After returning from loan at Hull F.C. to Leeds Rhinos, it was announced that Williams was switching codes, to join Guinness Premiership side, Newcastle Falcons, in time for the start of their 2008/09 campaign. On 11 January he scored a try for the Falcons in their shock victory over Gloucester RFC. Melbourne Storm
The Melbourne Storm are a rugby league club based in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia that participates in the National Rugby League. The first fully professional rugby league team based in the state, the Storm entered the competition in 1998. The Storm were originally a Super League initiative, created in 1997 during the Super League war, however, following the Super League collapse, the team became a part of the newly formed, united competition. The club play their home games at AAMI Park. The Storm have won four premierships since their inception, in 1999, 2012, 2017 and 2020, and have contested several more grand finals, but were stripped of the 2007 and 2009 premierships following salary cap breaches. Matthew Charles Sing (born 13 March 1975) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. An Australian and Queensland representative, Sing played his club football for the Penrith Panthers, Sydney Roosters and North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League (NRL) and for Hull F.C. in the Super League. Sing was the sixth player in Australian first grade history to score 150 tries and, as of 2019, is seventh on the all-time try scorers list. This article details the Bradford Bulls rugby league football club's 2015 season, the Bulls 1st season in the Championship. Season review July 2014 Bradford were beaten 52-26 by Huddersfield Giants in Round 21 which confirmed their relegation into the Championship. Following this news Lee Gaskell and Dale Ferguson both signed new deals at the Bulls keeping them at Odsal until the end of the 2016 season. The Widnes Vikings are an English rugby league club in Widnes, Cheshire, which competes in the Betfred Championship. The club plays home matches at the Halton Stadium.
