Jordan Creek (Little Third Fork)
Jordan Creek is a stream in Clinton and DeKalb counties of Missouri. It is a tributary of the Little Third Fork of the Platte River. The stream headwaters arise in the northwest corner of Clinton County approximately one mile northwest of the community of Hemple at . The stream flows northwest into DeKalb County and turns north crossing under U.S. Route 36. It continues north to its confluence with the Third Fork at . Buchanan County is located in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 84,793. Its county seat is St. Joseph. When originally formed in 1838, the county was named Roberts County, after settler Hiram Roberts.
