Jonel Désiré
Jonel Désiré (born 12 February 1997) is a Haitian professional association football, footballer who plays as a striker (association football), striker for Armenian club FC Alashkert, Alashkert and the Haiti national football team, Haiti national team. Career On 3 July 2018, Désiré signed a one-year contract, with the option of a second, with Armenian Premier League club Lori FC. On 18 July 2019, Lori FC announced that they had failed to negotiate a deal to keep Désiré in Armenia, and he returned to AS Mirebalais. On 31 August 2019, Lori announced the permanent signing of Désiré on a three-year contract for $60,000. On 8 August 2020, Désiré moved from Lori to fellow Armenian Premier League club FC Urartu. On 6 July 2022, Urartu announced that they had terminated their contract with Désiré by mutual agreement, with Olympiakos Nicosia announcing the singing of Désiré later the same day. Mirebalais
Mirebalais ( ht, Mibalè) is a commune in the Centre department of Haiti, approximately 60 km northeast of Port-au-Prince on National Road 3. The city was established in 1702. American Rotarians have made a number of mission-type trips to the city and surrounding areas since the 1980s. Located along the hydroelectric power transmission grid, the city normally has electricity throughout the day and night. During the United Nations occupation of 2005, Nepalese troops were stationed in the city, using the city jail as their headquarters. 2017 Caribbean Cup Qualification
The 2017 Caribbean Cup qualification began in March 2016. The qualification competition determined which Caribbean national teams would play in the 2017 Caribbean Cup and the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Participants 25 teams from the 31 CFU members entered the qualification tournament. Sint Maarten participated for the first time since 1997. Draw Twenty five nations were involved in the draw, which took place on 16 January 2016, 21:00 AST ( UTC−4), at the Jolly Beach Resort & Spa resort in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. Four teams were given a bye due to their involvement in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – CONCACAF Fourth Round. Couva
Couva is an urban town (48,858 in 2011 census) in west-central Trinidad, south of Port of Spain and Chaguanas and north of San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, San Fernando and Point Fortin. The Ato Boldon Stadium is an athletics and football stadium located in Balmain, Couva, Trinidad and Tobago. It is currently the home ground of Central and Club Sando. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. The 2022–23 Cypriot First Division is the 84th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. Competition system 14 teams will participate in the 2022–23 First Division.
