2022–23 Cypriot First Division
The 2022–23 Cypriot First Division is the 84th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. Competition system 14 teams will participate in the 2022–23 First Division. It will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, all teams will play each other twice, one at home and one away. After the completion of the 26 matches (A phase) the teams will participate in 2 groups (depending on their position) and will play ranking matches (B phase). The results, points and goals of the A' phase will be transferred to the matches. The teams in places 1–6 will compete for the championship and places leading to the European championships. The teams will face each other twice, one at home and one away. The team with the most points will be declared the champion. The champion team secures their place in the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League. Cypriot First Division
The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. PAEEK ( el, ΠΑΕΕΚ; short for Ποδοσφαιρική Αθλητική Ένωση Επαρχίας Κερύνειας, ''Podosfairiki Athlitiki Enosi Eparxeias Kerynias'', translated as "Football and Sport Union of Kyrenia District", literally "Footballing Sportive Union of the District of Kyrenia") is a Cypriot sports club founded in Kyrenia in 1953 by graduates of Kyrenia Gymnasium and represented the first force to be reckoned from the small city. Paphos District

The Alphamega Stadium, also known as Limassol Arena, is a football stadium in Kolossi, Limassol District, Cyprus and was constructed by the Cyprus Sports Organization (CSO). The stadium holds 10,700 people and was opened in 25 November 2022. It is the home ground of the 3 biggest clubs of Limassol AEL Limassol, Apollon Limassol and Aris Limassol.
