2021–22 FC Urartu Season
The 2021–22 season was FC Urartu's twenty-first consecutive season in the Armenian Premier League. Urartu will participate in the Armenian Premier League, Armenian Cup and the UEFA Europa Conference League. Season events On 17 June, Urartu announced the signing of Nana Antwi from Lori. On 21 June, Urartu announced that Narek Aghasaryan, Sergey Mkrtchyan and Narek Grigoryan had all returned to the club following loan spells at BKMA Yerevan the previous season. Urartu announced their second signing of the summer on 28 June, with Livio Milts joining the club from Roda JC Kerkrade. On 30 July, Urartu announced the signing of Vardan Arzoyan from Shirak. Football Club Urartu ( hy, Ուրարտու Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ, translated ''Futbolayin Akumb Urartu''), commonly known as Urartu, is an Armenian professional football team based in the capital Yerevan that currently plays in the Armenian Premier League. Shirak SC
Football Club Shirak ( hy, Շիրակ Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ), commonly known as Shirak, is an Armenian professional sports club based in Gyumri. Shirak is known for its professional football team which is one of the oldest football clubs in Armenia, having been created in 1958. The club is the only team that participated in all seasons of the Armenian Premier League since its creation in 1992 until 2021. Shirak is one of the more successful clubs in Armenia, having won a total of 11 domestic titles including four Armenian Premier League titles, two Armenian Cup, and five Armenian Super Cup. Shirak has yet to qualify for an international tournament playoff round, yet frequently plays UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League qualifying matches. Edgar Grigoryan
Edgar Grigoryan ( hy, Էդգար Գրիգորյան; born 25 August 1998) is an Armenian football player who plays as a left-back for Ararat-Armenia and the Armenia national team. Club career Grigoryan is a graduate of the Urartu Football Academy (previously Banants), and began playing football at the age of 6. At 30 July 2019 he signed a one-year loan deal with Noah. Before the start of the 2020–21 Armenian Premier League season he returned to Urartu. FC Minsk ( be, ФК Мінск) is a professional football club based in Minsk, Belarus. They play in the Belarusian Premier League, the highest tier of Belarusian football. FC Dnyapro Mogilev ( be, ФК Дняпро Магілёў; russian: ФК Дняпро Могилёв) was a Belarusian football club from Mogilev. Their home stadium is Spartak Stadium. Arsen Abramovich Beglaryan ( hy, Արսեն Բեգլարյան; russian: Арсен Абрамович Бегларян; born 18 February 1993) is an Armenian football player who plays as a goalkeeper for the Armenia national football team and Urartu. Club career Arsen Beglaryan was born in Krasnodar, Russia. He played goalkeeper for the youth teams of Kuban Krasnodar and Krasnodar during his early career.
