Johnny Gat
Johnny Gat is a fictional character from Volition's ''Saints Row'' series of action-adventure video games. Voiced by American actor Daniel Dae Kim, the character was originally introduced in 2006's ''Saints Row'' as a lieutenant of the Third Street Saints, a street gang operating out of the Saint's Row district in the fictional city of Stilwater. He continued to make recurring appearances in the series as the loyal though trigger-happy right-hand man and best friend of the gang's leader, the player character. In 2015, Gat received the leading role for the first time in the series in '' Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell'', a standalone expansion to 2013's '' Saints Row IV''. The concept behind the character was not created with a lot of forethought, as the developers fleshed out a bare minimum amount of detail for his role within the 2006 video game's narrative. is a light novel series, that has also been made into manga and anime series by Ryo Hoshino and illustrated by Ariko Ito. The anime series goes under the name . According to the New York Comic Convention, ''The Third'' has been licensed by Kadokawa Pictures U.S.A. and is distributed by Nozomi Entertainment for U.S. release. The anime was released in summer of 2007. Plot The series is set many years after a devastating war, which killed 80% of the Earth's population. Earth is being watched by a group of beings known as The Third from a city called Hyperius. They are named after a red jewel-like eye on their forehead (Space Eye) that serves as a port for data access and other types of communication. Divekick
''Divekick'' is a 2D competitive fighting game originally developed by One True Game Studios, an independent collective of competitive gamers. A demo of the game was showcased at several competitive events, and after a positive reaction, the group created a Kickstarter campaign to fund the creation of a full version for release on Microsoft Windows. The Kickstarter project was canceled after it was announced that developer Iron Galaxy Studios had agreed to co-develop and release the game. The name "Divekick" is a reference to a common mechanic in many fighting games in which some characters can jump in the air and do a diving kick with a sudden increase in momentum. In fighting games, dive kicks are usually very powerful, abusable tactics. The gameplay in ''Divekick'' revolves entirely around this mechanic.
