John Anastasiadis
Giannis "Johnny" Anastasiadis (Greek: Γιάννης "Τζόνι" Αναστασιάδης; born 13 August 1968 in Melbourne, Australia) is a former Australian soccer player who spent the majority of his career playing for Greek club PAOK FC. He is currently the senior assistant coach at A-League side Western United. Club career Anastasiadis began his career at Heidelberg United before being signed by the Greek club PAOK Thessaloniki FC at the age of 19. PAOK was the Greek club he supported during his boyhood and his transfer made a dream come true. He made his debut in 1988 and became an influential part of the team, playing in 18 Alpha Ethniki matches, 5 cup games and 24 friendlies in the 1988/89 season, scoring 12 goals in total. He also took part in the club's brief 1990/91 and 1991/92 UEFA Cup campaigns. National Soccer League
The National Soccer League (NSL) was the top-level soccer league in Australia, run by Soccer Australia and later the Australian Soccer Association. The NSL, the A-League's predecessor, spanned 28 seasons from its inception in 1977 until its demise in 2004, when it was succeeded by the A-League competition run by Football Federation Australia, the successor to the Australian Soccer Association. The Australia Cup, formerly known as the FFA Cup until the 2021 season, is the national football knockout cup competition in Australia. This annual competition is organised by Football Australia, formerly known as Football Federation Australia until 2020. The Australia Cup comprises teams from the top division, A-League Men (known as simply the A-League before the 2021–22 season), as well as those from lower tiers in the Australian soccer league system. Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club is an Australian semi professional soccer club based in Cheltenham, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. The club was formed in 1986, by the Greek Cypriot community and currently competes in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. Nicholas Kalmar (born 15 October 1987) is an Australian soccer player who plays for Dandenong City. Club career After his departure from Sunshine George Cross in 2007 he had a stint in Croatia before returning to Australia. On 29 June 2010 he signed a one-year contract with Melbourne Heart after impressing head coach, John van 't Schip, in several trials and friendlies before the start of the 2010-2011 A-league season. Cameron Watson (born 31 May 1987) is a Scottish Australian football (soccer) player who plays as a defensive midfielder for National Premier Leagues Victoria 2 side Moreland Zebras FC. Club career FC Porto and VVV-Venlo Watson previously played in the youth and reserve teams of Portuguese Liga club FC Porto for one season before joining Dutch club VVV-Venlo, where he made a handful of appearances. Ivan Frankie Franjic (born 10 September 1987) is an Australian Association football, soccer player who plays for Heidelberg United FC, Heidelberg United in the NPL Victoria. The 2000 FIFA Club World Championship was the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup, the world club championship for men's club association football teams. It took place in Brazil from 5 January to 14 January 2000. FIFA as football's international governing body selected Brazil as the host nation on 8 June 1999 as the bid was found to be the strongest among four candidates.
