Bentleigh Greens
Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club is an Australian semi professional soccer club based in Cheltenham, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. The club was formed in 1986, by the Greek Cypriot community and currently competes in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. Bentleigh made nationwide headlines when it became the first club below the A-League to make the semi-final of the FFA Cup in 2014. The Greens hit another milestone a year later when they claimed their first major trophy, the NPL Victoria title. In 2016, Bentleigh Greens became Victorian top-flight league premiers for the first time. Bentleigh are one of six state league teams to have eliminated an A-League team in the FFA Cup, along with Heidelberg United FC, Redlands United FC, Green Gully SC, Adelaide City FC, and Blacktown City FC. Mark Bresciano
Mark Bresciano ( ; ; born 11 February 1980) is an Australian former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. Born in Melbourne, Bresciano played youth football for Bulleen Lions, before moving into the National Soccer League with Carlton. In 1999, he moved to Italian Serie B side Empoli, beginning a twelve-year stay in the country. In 2002, he moved to the Serie A with Parma, later playing for Palermo and S.S. Lazio. From 2011, he spent the final four years of his career in the Middle East, first with UAE Pro-League side Al Nasr and then Qatar Stars League club Al-Gharafa where he last played in 2015. Alastair Bray
Alastair Bray (born 23 April 1993) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for South Melbourne FC in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. Career After featuring for the NYL sides of both Melbourne Victory and Melbourne Heart, Bray joined Bentleigh Greens during the 2013 season. During his time at the club he received a call-up to the Olyroos squad. Kamal Said Ibrahim (Amharic: ካማል ዕብራህም; born 26 July 1992) is a professional footballer who plays for Melbourne Knights FC in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. 2015 FFA Cup
The 2015 FFA Cup was the second season of the FFA Cup, the main national soccer knockout cup competition in Australia. 32 teams began competition in the competition proper (from the round of 32), including all 10 A-League teams, the reigning National Premier Leagues Champion (North Eastern MetroStars from South Australia), and 21 Football Federation Australia (FFA) member federation teams determined through individual state-based preliminary rounds. 2015 marks the first season in which teams from all nine FFA member federations participate, with the Northern Territory participating for the first time. Chris Lucas (born 27 March 1992) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Oakleigh Cannons in the NPL Victoria. Lucas played for Gold Coast United for the A-League in 2011-12 season and made his professional debut on 22 January 2012 against Sydney FC. Daniel Visevic (born 30 November 1988) is an Australian footballer who plays as a midfielder. Visevic was born in Melbourne and played youth football for St Albans Saints, Essendon Royals and the Victorian Institute of Sport before starting his professional career for Melbourne Victory. After just one competitive appearance for the Victory, Visevic moved back to the Victorian Premier League, where he played until a move to Croatia to play with Dinamo Zagreb in 2007.
