Johar Bendjelloul
Johar Bendjelloul (born 1 September 1975) is a Swedish television presenter and journalist. Since 2013, Bendjelloul has been hosting ''P1 Morgon'' at Sveriges Radio. Before that he was a television presenter at SVT1 for ''Gomorron Sverige'', ''Babel'', ''Kulturnyheterna'' and ''Aktuellt''. He has also done voice acting doing one of the characters in the children's movie ''Jack & Pedro''. Personal life Johar is the son of Algerian-born physician Hacène Bendjelloul and Swedish translator and painter Veronica Schildt, making him grandson of actor Henrik Schildt. 48th Guldbagge Awards
The 48th Guldbagge Awards ceremony, presented by the Swedish Film Institute, honored the best Sweden, Swedish 2012 in film, films of 2012 and took place January 21, 2013, at Cirkus (Stockholm), Cirkus in Stockholm. During the ceremony, the jury presented Guldbagge Awards (commonly referred to as Bagge) in 19 categories. SVT1 (SVT Ett; commonly referred to as Ettan) is the primary television station of the Swedish public service broadcaster Sveriges Television in Sweden. ''Aktuellt'' (literally "current; topical" or "actual") is a Swedish nightly news programme produced by Sveriges Television (SVT) and broadcast on its second channel, SVT2 in Sweden. It was first broadcast on 2 September 1958. With the start of TV 2 (forerunner of SVT2) in 1969, the ''Aktuellt'' brand disappeared but was revived in 1972 when TV1 began airing two main bulletins at 6pm and 9pm. The 6pm bulletin was moved to SVT2 in 1997, followed on 15 January 2001 by the 9pm edition. Pia Veronica Schildt Bendjelloul (born 20 May 1944, in Stockholm) is a Swedish translator. Born Veronica Schildt, she belonged to the Finnish Assembly (Finska församlingen, a non-territorial assembly in Swedish church primarily serving Sweden Finns in the Stockholm diocese). she finished her matriculation in a school for girls in Stockholm in 1964, and later studied at Stockholm University receiving a Bachelor of Arts in 1971. ''Searching for Sugar Man'' is a 2012 documentary film about a South African cultural phenomenon, written and directed by Malik Bendjelloul, which details the efforts in the late 1990s of two Cape Town fans, Stephen "Sugar" Segerman and Craig Bartholomew Strydom, to find out whether the rumoured death of American musician Sixto Rodriguez was true and, if not, to discover what had become of him. Rodriguez's music, which had never achieved success in the United States, had become very popular in South Africa, although little was known about him in that country.
