48th Guldbagge Awards
The 48th Guldbagge Awards ceremony, presented by the Swedish Film Institute, honored the best Sweden, Swedish 2012 in film, films of 2012 and took place January 21, 2013, at Cirkus (Stockholm), Cirkus in Stockholm. During the ceremony, the jury presented Guldbagge Awards (commonly referred to as Bagge) in 19 categories. The ceremony was televised in the Sweden by Sveriges Television, SVT, with actress and comedian Babben Larsson hosting the show. ''Eat Sleep Die'' won four awards including Best Film and Best Director for Gabriela Pichler. ''Call Girl (2012 film), Call Girl'' also won four awards, all in the technical categories. Cirkus (Stockholm)
Cirkus ( sv, Cirkus Arena och Restaurang AB) is an arena in Djurgården, Stockholm, that holds 1,650 people. It was originally used as a circus (the old official name being ''Cirkusteatern''), but is today mostly used for concerts and musical shows. Hard To Kill
''Hard to Kill'' is a 1990 American action thriller film directed by Bruce Malmuth, starring Steven Seagal, Kelly LeBrock, William Sadler and Frederick Coffin. Seagal's second film after '' Above the Law'', it features him as Mason Storm, a detective who falls into a coma after being shot during a fire-fight that killed his wife. Matti Bye
Matti Bye (born July 25, 1966) is a Swedish pianist and composer. He has composed music for over 30 films and TV series as well as additional scores for Theatre and Dance pieces. In 2014, he was nominated twice at Sweden´s Guldbagge Awards in which his soundtrack for the film Faro won the award. He also won a Gudbagge in 2009 for his score for the film Everlasting Moments. He has recorded and released numerous solo and collaboration records, include Hydra’s Dream, with Anna Von Hausswolff; Maailma, with cult Finnish songwriter Lau Nau; and has collaborated live with producer and musician Samuli Kosminen. Farnaz Arbabi
Farnaz Arbabi (born 8 November 1977) is a Swedish theatre director, playwright and writer. She has been the creative co-director of Unga Klara since 2014. Biography Early years and education Farnaz Arbabi was born in Teheran, Iran. Her family moved to Sweden when she was two years old, and she grew up in Husby, Stockholm. After their arrival her parents worked as native tongue language teachers. No one in her immediate surroundings worked in creative professions, but when she was eight years old her father entered her in the after school-activities at Kulturskolan, Husby. She joined a youth theatre troupe with a high school friend and soon discovered an affinity for directing, rather than acting. Klaus Härö
Klaus Härö (born 31 March 1971 in Porvoo, Finland) is a Finnish film director. In 2004, he won Finland's State Prize for Art. Härö grew up in a Swedish-speaking Finnish family. He studied directing and attended screen writing seminars at the University of Industrial Arts in Helsinki. He has directed several feature films, including '' Elina: As If I Wasn't There'' (2003), '' Mother of Mine'' (2005) and '' The New Man'' (2007), as well as documentaries and short films. He works in both Sweden and Finland. In 2003 Klaus Härö received the Ingmar Bergman Award, the winner of which was chosen by Ingmar Bergman himself.
