Johanna Ekström
Johanna Ulrika Ekström (9 May 1970 – 13 April 2022) was a Swedish author and artist. Ekström made her published debut in 1993 with a collection of poems called ''Skiffer'', and the following year she had her first exhibition at Galleri Charlotte Lund in Stockholm. Ekström published a dozen collections of poems and short stories as well as novels. Per Wästberg
Per Erik Wästberg (born 20 November 1933) is a Swedish writer and a member of the Swedish Academy since 1997. Wästberg was born in Stockholm, son of Erik Wästberg and his wife Greta née Hirsch, and holds a degree in literature from Uppsala University. He was editor-in-chief of Sweden's largest daily newspaper, ''Dagens Nyheter'' 1976–1982, and has been a contributor since 1953. He is an older brother of Olle Wästberg. Literary work Wästberg was a member of Amnesty International for many years and was a president of International PEN. , he is a member of the Nobel Prize for Literature committee. Wästberg wrote a biographical novel about Anders Sparrman, a Swedish natural scientist, who, according to Wästberg, was the first zoologist to study the two African rhinoceros species. Margareta Ekström
Sigrid Margareta Ekström (23 April 1930 – 12 December 2021) was a Swedish poet, novelist, translator, children's writer, literary critic and film critic. Biography Ekström was born in Stockholm in 1930, to Harald Ekström and wife Sigrid Lagervall. She was married to Carl-Eric Nordberg from 1954 to 1969. In the 1960s, she met the writer, Per Wästberg, and they had a long relationship together that eventually ended. With Wästberg, she had two children; Johanna Ekström, who is also a writer, and Jakob Wästberg, an entrepreneur. In 1996, Ekström suffered a debilitating stroke, and was unable to write, read, or speak, afterwards. She died on 12 December 2021, at the age of 91. Career Ekström had a Bachelor's degree and was a literary critic for Expressen from 1961–1983, and a worked at Sydsvenskan from 1974–1982.
