Joeano Pinto Chaves
Joeano Pinto Chaves (born 12 August 1979), known simply as Joeano, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Born in Fortaleza, Ceará, Joeano moved to Portugal, where he would remain for the majority of his career, at the age of 20, signing with amateurs C.D. Arrifanense from local Fortaleza Esporte Clube. In the 2002–03 season he scored 29 goals with third division club A.D. Sanjoanense, helping his team rank ninth and attracting the attention of UD Salamanca of the Spanish second level. In the 2004 January transfer window, however, Joeano returned to Portugal and signed for Académica de Coimbra, netting six times in only 13 games to help the side avoid relegation from the Primeira Liga. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. According to the rules, each national football association decides on the time (such as the dates) of the 'window' but it may not exceed 12 weeks. Cypriot First Division
The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Teddy Stadium ( he, אצטדיון טדי) is a sports stadium in the Malha neighborhood of Jerusalem. Three football teams currently use the stadium: Beitar Jerusalem, Hapoel Jerusalem, and the Israel national football team for select home matches. The stadium is named after long-time Jerusalem mayor Teddy Kollek, who was in office during the time of its construction and was one of its prominent advocates.
