Jimale Jama Takar
General Jim’ale Jama Takar (), (); is a Somali military official and the chief commander of the 2nd Commando Battalion of Danab Force. Personal life Jimale Jama Takar, a native of Garowe, He is of the Isse Mohamoud sub-clan of the Majeerteen, Harti, Darod clan, Prior to the collapse of the Somali government, Takar was served as a member of the 21st battalion stationed in Dusmareb. Following the government's downfall, he emerged as a prominent figure among the various rebel groups and factions in Puntland, serving as one of the officers of the Somali national forces. Over the years, he has collaborated with different administrations in Puntland and was appointed to his current position by former President Abdirahman Farole. Under Farole's leadership, Takar received troops who had undergone training in Uganda and Ethiopia. In May 2023, general Takar relocated to Garowe, where he was leads a rebellion against the Puntland Government, along with his loyal forces. ...

Said Abdullahi Deni (, ; born 1966 or 1967, also known as Said Deni, is the current president of Puntland. He was first elected in January 8, 2019. The Puntland Maritime Police Force (PMPF) is a security force based in Puntland, an autonomous region in northeastern Somalia. As of March 2012, the PMPF had around 500 personnel. The force is eventually expected to comprise 10,000 personnel.
