Jesús Del Nero
Jesús del Nero Montes (born 16 March 1982 in Chinchón, Madrid) is a Spanish professional road bicycle racer who most recently rode for the UCI Professional Continental Team NetApp. Del Nero turned professional with the Basque continental team Orbea in 2005 before moving to new UCI Professional Continental team 3 Molinos Resort in 2006. When 3 Molinos folded at the end of 2006, Del Nero moved to Saunier Duval, which subsequently became Fuji-Servetto. Chinchón () is a town and municipality in the Community of Madrid, Spain. Located 50 km south-east of the city of Madrid, the municipality covers an area of 115.91 km2. , it has a population of 5,239. 3 Molinos Resort () was a short-lived professional continental cycling team based in Spain and participated in the UCI Europe Tour When selected the team got a wildcard to UCI ProTour events. '3 Molinos' was founded in 2006 as a professional continental team, but this proved to be their last as funding was withdrawn due to doping scandals. Euskadi () was a Spanish cycling team based in the Basque Country that existed from 2005 to 2014. It was one of the European teams in UCI Continental Tour. The team functioned as the development team of the original and the unofficial "national" squad of the Basque region. Euskal Bizikleta (Spanish: ''Bicicleta Vasca'', English: ''Basque Bicycle'') was an annual road bicycle racing, road cycling stage race held in the Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country in June. From 2005 to 2008, the race was organized as a 2.HC event on the UCI Europe Tour. In 2009, it was merged with the Tour of the Basque Country. The first race was held in 1952, but it has only been called Euskal Bizikleta since 1991. The first winner (1952) was Louis Caput from France. The day's break formed at kilometer 29 and included José Vicente García (Caisse d'Epargne), Laurent Mangel (AG2R), Enrico Franzoi (Lampre), Maarten Tjallingii (Skil-Shimano), Aleksandr Kuschynski (Liquigas), Evert Verbist (Chocolade Jacques) and David Boucher (Landbouwkrediet). Shortly after the Berendries climb Fabian Cancellara made a successful move to bridge up to the break and was followed by Gert Steegmans. The break was caught on the run-in to the Muur van Geraardsbergen and on the Muur the decisive attack came from Alessandro Ballan, who was followed by Leif Hoste.
