Jesolo or Iesolo (; vec, Gèxoło) is a seaside resort town and ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Italy of 26,447 inhabitants. With around six million visitors per year, Jesolo is one of the largest beach resorts in the country, and ranks 7th overall as a tourist destination, and fourth (behind Rimini, Cavallino-Treporti, San Michele al Tagliamento/Bibione) most popular Italian seaside resort. With 204,711.4 visits per thousand inhabitants, it is also one of the 50 Italian towns with the greatest tourist pressure. Its 15 kilometre long beaches and proximity to central Europe make it a favourite destination of many German, Austrian, Dutch and French visitors. Eraclea () is a small city and ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Veneto, northern Italy. It is located on the Adriatic Sea, Adriatic coast between the towns of Caorle and Jesolo. The Piave ( la, Plavis, German: ''Ploden'') is a river in northern Italy. It begins in the Alps and flows southeast for into the Adriatic Sea near the city of Venice. One of its tributaries is the Boite. In 1809 it was the scene of a battle during the Napoleonic Wars, in which Franco-Italian and Austrian forces clashed. Pietro Ungarello di Marco de' Natali, better known as Petrus de Natalibus ( 1400 1406), was an Italian bishop and the author of a collection of lives of the saints. No details of the early life of this hagiographer have been handed down to us. A Venetian, he consecrated himself to the ecclesiastical state, becoming a canon in Equilio (Jesolo). On 5 July 1370, he was elevated to the episcopal see of that city. Details are also lacking regarding his pastoral activity. Cavallino-Treporti is a town and ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Veneto, northern Italy. The commune occupies a peninsula (''litorale del Cavallino'') which divides the Venetian Lagoon from the Adriatic Sea. The river Sile (river), Sile forms the north-eastern boundary with the ''comune'' of Jesolo. The ''comune'' is composed of several boroughs, including Cavallino, Treporti, Punta Sabbioni and others.
