Jesolo
Jesolo (; ) is a seaside resort town and ''comune'' of 26,873 inhabitants in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Italy. With around 5.5 million visitors per year, Jesolo ranks second among beach resorts in the country for number of tourists, and third in terms of nights spent there. It ranks 6th overall as a tourist destination, immediately behind the major cities of Rome, Milan, Venice and Florence. With 204,711.4 visits per thousand inhabitants, it is also one of the 50 Italian towns with the greatest tourist pressure. Its 15 kilometres of beaches and proximity to Central Europe make it a favourite destination of many German, Austrian, Dutch and French visitors. Eraclea
Eraclea () is a small city and ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Veneto, northern Italy. It is located on the Adriatic coast between the towns of Caorle and Jesolo. History From its founding until 742 AD, the Republic of Venice had its capital based in Eraclea. It was replaced by Malamocco. According to Greek mythology, it was founded by the hero and demi-god Heracles. Piave (river)
The Piave (; ) is a river in Northeast Italy. It begins in the Alps and flows southeast for into the Adriatic Sea near the city of Venice. One of its tributaries is the Boite. In 1809 it was the scene of a battle during the Napoleonic Wars, in which Franco-Italian and Austrian forces clashed. In 1918, during World War I, it was the scene of Battle of the Piave River, the last major Austro-Hungarian attack on the Italian front, which failed. The Battle of the Piave River was a decisive battle of World War I on the Italian Front. In Italy the river is thus called ''Fiume Sacro alla Patria'' (Sacred River of the Homeland) and is mentioned in the patriotic song " La leggenda del Piave". Petrus De Natalibus
Pietro Ungarello di Marco de' Natali, better known as Petrus de Natalibus ( 1400 1406), was an Italian bishop and the author of a collection of lives of the saints. A Venetian, he consecrated himself to the ecclesiastical state, becoming a canon in Equilio (Jesolo). On 5 July 1370, he was elevated to the episcopal see of that city. Cavallino-Treporti is a town and ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Veneto, northern Italy. The commune occupies a peninsula, which divides the Venetian Lagoon from the Adriatic Sea. The river Sile forms the north-eastern boundary with the ''comune'' of Jesolo. The ''comune'' is composed of several boroughs, including Cavallino, Treporti, Punta Sabbioni and others. The Prima Categoria is the seventh level (since 2014–15) in the Italian football league system and is organized by the National Amateur League by the Regional Committees.
