Giovanna Bersola (born 20 July 1972), better known by her stage name Jenny B, is an Italian singer. Biography Bersola was born in 1972 in Catania, Sicily, Italy, to a Sicilian mother and Senegalese father. In the early years of her music career, she mostly did session work. She is best known for her feature vocal in the Italian Eurodance group Corona's 1993 hit, "The Rhythm of the Night", and also in the Italian Eurodance Playahitty 1994 hit " The Summer Is Magic". In 2000, she won the "Newcomers Section" and the Mia Martini Critics Award of the Sanremo Music Festival with her song, "Semplice Sai". Massimo Ranieri (born Giovanni Calone on 3 May 1951) is an Italian singer, actor, television presenter and director. Biography Early life Ranieri was born in Naples ( at Santa Lucia), the fifth of eight children in the family. When he was 10, young Giovanni would sing at restaurants, wedding receptions, etc. He was discovered by a music producer about four years later and was flown to New York to record an EP under the name of Gianni Rock. Singing career Ranieri recorded four songs in 1964: Tanti auguri signora, Se mi aspetti stasera, Non chiudere la porta, and La Prima Volta. Gazosa are an Italian teen band, best known for the song "www.mipiacitu". Career The band formed in 1998 as Eta Beta and then Zeta Beta, and originally consisted of Jessica Morlacchi (b. 1987, vocalist and bass guitar), Vincenzo Siani (b. 1986, drums), and the brothers Federico Paciotti (b. 1987, guitar) and Valentina Paciotti (b. 1985, keyboards). Alessandro "Alex" Britti (born 23 August 1968) is an Italian singer-songwriter and guitarist. Biography When he was 17, he started his first band, playing blues at clubs in Rome, and eventually moved to Milan. In 1989 he established the Alex Britti Blues Band. He has worked with Buddy Miles, Billy Preston, Louisiana Red and has toured Europe with Rosa King. In the mid-1990s, he toured with Francesco De Gregori. The experience prompted Britti to switch to a more soft rock-oriented sound. He had his first hit in 1998 when " Solo una volta (o tutta la vita)" made it to the top of the Italian charts.
