Gazosa
Gazosa are an Italian teen band, best known for the song "www.mipiacitu". Career The band formed in 1998 as Eta Beta and then Zeta Beta, and originally consisted of Jessica Morlacchi (b. 1987, vocalist and bass guitar), Vincenzo Siani (b. 1986, drums), and the brothers Federico Paciotti (b. 1987, guitar) and Valentina Paciotti (b. 1985, keyboards). Put under contract by Caterina Caselli, they made their official debut in 1999, with the Abba's cover " Mamma Mia". Their self-titled debut album was released in 2000 and it mixed new songs and covers. In 2001 the band entered the 51st edition of the Sanremo Music Festival and won the newcomers' competition with the song "Stai con me (Forever)". Anna Tatangelo (born 9 January 1987) is an Italian pop singer and television personality. At the age of 15, she became the youngest person to win the Newcomer's Award at the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival singing contest. Caterina Caselli (born 10 April 1946) is an Italian record producer, music executive, singer and bass player. Biography Caselli was born in Modena but grew up in Sassuolo. She started her music career by playing bass in local clubs. In 1966 she debuted in the Sanremo Festival with " Nessuno mi può giudicare", a song discarded by Adriano Celentano, scoring a notable success. It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc. Caselli also had considerable success with an Italian cover of the David McWilliams song "Days of Pearly Spencer" called "Il volto della vita". "Nessuno mi può giudicare" ( en, "Nobody can judge me") is an Italian pop song written by Luciano Beretta, Miki Del Prete, Daniele Pace and Mario Panzeri. The song premiered at the sixteenth edition of the Sanremo Music Festival, and was performed by Caterina Caselli and Gene Pitney, finishing second. Caselli's version was a massive success, in spite of her being almost unknown at the time, and peaked at the first place on the Italian hit parade for several weeks.
