Jennifer Colino
Jennifer Colino Guerra (born 11 October 1985) is a retired Spanish rhythmic gymnast and coach. As part of the Club Atlético Montemar she is a multiple national champion. Biography At the age of 5, she began practicing ballet, flamenco and Spanish dance, at the age of 8 she started rhythmic gymnastics as part of the school's extracurricular activities. She started at the Club Gimnasia Rítmica Torrevieja, moving 2 years later to the Club Atlético Montemar in Alicante, a club from which other important Spanish gymnasts such as Carolina Pascual, Marta Baldó and Estela Giménez have emerged. In 1996 she was regional champion in the children's category in the individual modality and Spanish champion in the children's category in the group modality with the Club Atlético Montemar. In 1997 she was the national junior champion with ball and in 1998 she was the junior Spanish champion in both individuals and groups. Almudena Cid Tostado (born 15 June 1980 in Vitoria, País Vasco, Spain) is a former Spanish individual rhythmic gymnast who competed on the Spanish national team. She is the only rhythmic gymnast who has competed in four Olympic finals. 2004 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships
The 20st Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships were held in Kyiv, Ukraine, from June 4 to 6, 2004. 27 national teams participated in the championships. Medals were contested in two disciplines: team and individual all-round. Alina Kabaeva became for the fifth time in a row European champion in individual all-around and Russia – for the third time in a row European team champion. The winner of the medal tally was Russia with two gold and one bronze medals. It was the first major rhythmic gymnastics competition which was contested in Ukraine. Esther Escolar Menéndez (born 21 December 1987) is a Spanish former rhythmic and aesthetic gymnast. She represented her country in international competitions. Biography Esther took up rhythmic gymnastics around 1994 at age 7, as an extracurricular activity at the Colegio Capitán Masip. She then moved to the Club Patricia of Lleida, where she was trained by Divina Abad and later by Meri Torrelles. Since 1997, Esther began competing in national competitions, winning gold in the Spanish Group Championships in 1999. That same year she was called up for a stage in the Spanish national team. As an individual, in 2000 she became national junior champion in Córdoba, in 2002 she was runner-up.
