Jeff Tomlinson
Jeffrey "Jeff" Tomlinson (born April 23, 1970) is a Canadian-German professional ice hockey coach. He is currently the head coach of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in the National League (NL). Playing career Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Tomlinson played for the Prince Albert Raiders, the Roanoke Valley Rebels and the Raleigh Icecaps, before taking his game to Germany in 1992. After almost five years with EC Timmendorfer Strand, he had a short stint with the Berlin Capitals of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga during the 1996-97 season and then would spend the following three years in England, playing for Manchester Storm. In 2000, Tomlinson came back to the German capital city, signing with Eisbären Berlin, where he would stay for the remainder of his playing tenure. After suffering a torn ACL in November 2002, he tried to come back to the game, but decided to end his playing career in 2004. Pat Cortina
Pasqualino "Pat" Cortina (born 4 September 1964) is an Italian Canadian ice hockey coach who has coached several club and national teams in Europe since the 1990s. He is serving as head coach of the SC Riessersee in Germany. Career Cortina was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Cortina has coached the Italian national team as well as Serie A teams HC Varese and HC Asiago. Cortina coached Hungarian ice hockey club Alba Volán Székesfehérvár from 2003 to 2006 (winning the Hungarian Nationwide Championship three times), German team EHC München in 2006–07 and HC Innsbruck of the Austrian Hockey League in 2007–08. The Deutschland Cup is an in-season international ice hockey tournament hosted by the German Ice Hockey Federation which has been contested in most years since 1987. Early years (1987–1997) In 1987, the German Ice Hockey Federation created the Deutschland Cup as an official international tournament. Stuttgart served as a site for the first years of the tournament, with at least one game taking place in the Baden-Württemberg capital every year through 1996, except 1991, when the tournament was played at the Eissporthalle Frankfurt.
