Jeff Campbell (musician)
Jeff Campbell (born September 7, ? in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an accomplished American musician and singer-songwriter. Early life Campbell took private piano instruction as a child, started a metal band in high school, and attended school at West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Career A Philadelphia native, Campbell moved to San Francisco in 2005 specifically for the newer Rock scene he had heard was developing. After a few years of trying to balance learning the West Coast Music Scene with his day job, the job was cast aside in favor of full-time touring, writing and recording. In 2006, the musician started his second band "Pine and Battery," and indie-rock band, (2006–2012) with members Rick Munoz (drums), Andy Weller (guitar), and AJ Leighton (bass). John Shanks
John Matthew Shanks (born December 18, 1964) is an American songwriter, record producer and guitarist. Early life and education John Matthew Shanks was born in New York City. Shanks moved to Los Angeles when he was 17 years old. He was in a band called Line One with future author Bret Easton Ellis. Career Shanks began playing in Melissa Etheridge's band in 1988 and toured with her for several years. Shanks enjoyed his first writing success in the early 1990s with tracks for Bonnie Raitt, Joe Cocker and Tuck & Patti. He also landed his first publishing deal. Shanks reunited with Etheridge in 1995 when he collaborated with her on songs for ''Your Little Secret''. Megan Slankard (born June 6, 1983, Tracy, California) is an American musician and singer-songwriter. Early life Slankard began learning the guitar when she was 10 years old. At age 17, Slankard produced and recorded her first album, '' Lady is a Pirate'', with her brother at home on her computer. Career After turning 18, Slankard toured with David Knopfler as the opening act for his European tour and co-wrote the title song of his album '' Ship of Dreams''. In July 2004, Slankard appeared on an episode of TLC's '' What Not to Wear''. The episode first aired July 16, 2004.
