Jean Kahwaji
Jean Kahwaji (, ar, جان قهوجي; born 1953) is a former Lebanese military officer and Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces from 2008 to 2017. Career Kahwaji joined the Lebanese army in 1973. He trained abroad, especially in the United States and Italy. He also underwent anti-terrorism training in Germany in 2006, as well as in Italy. He headed the army's 12th Infantry Brigade since 2002.. He also went to the Swedish military school in Boden Garrison in Sweden for terrain warfare during the 1990s. On 30 August 2008, the Lebanese government appointed Brigadier-General Jean Kahwaji to be chief of the Lebanese Armed Forces, replacing Michel Suleiman, who became President of Lebanon in May 2008. He is the 13th chief officer in all of the army's 63-year history. Corruption charges Kahwaji has been charged several times with corruption and illicit enrichment. Boden Garrison
Boden Garrison ( sv, Bodens garnison) is a major garrison in Sweden, located in and around Boden, Sweden, Boden in Norrbotten County. The garrison has during the 20th century been, and still is, the largest garrison in Sweden, consisting of several units of the Swedish Armed Forces as well as Boden Fortress. Lebanese Maronites

The 2nd Infantry Brigade (Lebanon) is a Lebanese Army unit that fought in the Lebanese Civil War, being active since its creation in January 1983 until its self-disbandment in 1987, being subsequently re-formed in June 1991. Origins In the aftermath of the June–September 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon, President Amin Gemayel, convinced that a strong and unified national defense force was a prerequisite to rebuilding the nation, announced plans to raise a 60,000-man army organized into twelve brigades (created from existing infantry regiments), trained and equipped by France and the United States. In late 1982, the 2nd Infantry Regiment was therefore re-organized and expanded to a brigade group numbering 2,000 men, most of whom were Sunni Muslims from the Akkar District of northern Lebanon, which became on January 18, 1983, at Scout City – Batroun, the 2nd Infantry Brigade. Abbas Ibrahim ( ar, عباس إبراهيم; born 2 March 1959) is a major general who has been the general director of the General Directorate of General Security since 18 July 2011. Early life Abbas Ibrahim was born on 2 March 1959. He hails from the town of Kawthariyet al-Sayyad, Sidon District in Southern Lebanon.
