Jean-Michel Ponzio
Jean-Michel Ponzio (born 30 January 1967) is a French comics artist and illustrator. Biography In 1985 he received a degree as technical designer in Marseille. In the following year he studied at the School of Applied Arts and Jobs in Paris, and, in 1989, he obtained a further degree in "communication images" at Toulouse. His first short movie, ''Aller Retour'', was broadcast by Canal+ and won an award at the Festival of Gerardmer in 1991. In 1991-1993, Ponzio dedicated himself to 3D short movies and, in 1996-2000, ho worked as scenario designer for movies such as '' Batman & Robin'', ''S1m0ne'' and others. His first comics cover was published in 2001. A science fiction fan since his youth, Ponzio released a comic book in this genre, ''Dernier exil'', which was published in two albums by Editions Carabas. Richard Malka (born 6 June 1968) is a French lawyer, comics writer and novelist. As lawyer Malka in 2007 successfully defended Charlie Hebdo editor Philippe Val against charges of racism following the magazine's publication of Mohammad caricatures. Paul Gillon (11 May 1926 – 21 May 2011) was a French comics artist. He won the 1982 Grand Prix de la ville d'Angoulême. Born in Paris, he considered fashion, theater and cinema, and only by accident made a career as a comics author. In the magazine '' Vaillant'', he continued the older series ''Lynx Blanc'', and created ''Fils de Chine'' and ''Cormoran''. From 1959 until 1972, he drew ' for ''France Soir'' and also did series for the '' Journal de Mickey''. Richard Marazano (born 27 January 1971) is a People of France, French cartoonist. His work has been published in many European countries including France, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Swiss, Italy as well as worldwide in the United States, China and Japan. Biography Marazano was born in Fontenay-aux-Roses, near Paris. After short scientific studies, he was introduced by artist Jean Giraud, Moebius to several comics publishers. He was formerly pushed into comics by artist Jean Giraud, better known as Moebius, who advised him for a few years and introduced him to several publishers.
