Jay-J
Jay-J (born 1969), real name Joseph John Hernandez, is an American house DJ and producer from San Francisco. He has released over 120 recordings since his 1995 debut. From his Moulton Studios he has collaborated with producers and DJs including Kaskade, Miguel Migs, Marques Wyatt, Halo, Julius Papp, Mark Grant and Chris Lum. He has performed at La Terraza (Spain), Pacha (Ibiza), Zouk (Singapore) and Ministry of Sound (United Kingdom), and performed live at the 2006 MTV Australia Awards, on both the Red Carpet and during the Awards Show. In 2008, he was selected as one of eight musical artists for Coca-Cola's "WE8" project for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Each artist was provided with a theme, and created a song that expanded on the theme. Ryan Gary Raddon (born February 25, 1971), better known by his stage name Kaskade, is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. ''DJ Times'' voted Kaskade "America's Best DJ" in 2011 and 2013. ''DJ Mag'' named Kaskade fifty-first on its 2009 list of Top 100 DJs. Early life Born in Chicago, Kaskade grew up in nearby Northbrook and attended Glenbrook North High School. As a teenager, he would shop for music at Gramaphone Records on Clark Street in Chicago. His brother, Rich Raddon, became an entrepreneur and film producer. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah from 1989 to 1990, working on his DJ skills in his dorm room. Miguel Steward, better known as Miguel Migs, is an American deep house DJ and producer and founder of Salted Music, an independent electronic dance music record label based in San Francisco, California.
